Title Deed (Tapu)

A Turkish title deed, also known as a tapu, is a crucial document that establishes property ownership. Turkish title documents provide details on the property as well as the owner. The Tapu and Cadastre General Directorate provides them, registers them, and archives them.

Residency and Work Permit

Turkish house purchasers are now granted an automatic year-long residency permit in Turkey as part of the government's effort to streamline the buying procedure for international property buyers. After your first year, you can renew your permission and get a permit valid for up to five years. The procedure for obtaining a residence permit is quite simple. Documents

Apart from those, you will need some documents to own a villa in Turkey. 

As we stated before, the title deed of the property (Tapu)

Passport of the foreigner purchasing the property, as well as a photocopy of the passport

The applicable municipality must produce you a "Property Value Statement Document."

Compulsory earthquake insurance

If you cannot speak Turkish, a translator is required.

If the transfer is made with a power of attorney outside of Turkey, the original or certified copy of the power of attorney must be presented (Turkish translation of the power of attorney is required).
