John Legend and Chrissy Teigen are selling not one but two properties in New York City. The couple purchased two penthouses in the same building to combine them into one duplex property, but they never did so. Now, the duo is selling their penthouses for $18 million.
The couple did not buy the units in the same year. They bought the first unit for $9 million in 2018 and the second unit for $7.7 million in 2020. However, since they currently live mainly in Los Angeles, they have decided to sell the penthouses.
The properties are located in the historic Brewster Carriage House. In 2012, the 150-year-old structure was converted into condos. The interior space of the penthouses will be around 6,100 square feet if they are combined as the couple intended.
The features of the house are dazzling. In addition to the specially designed kitchen equipped with Miele appliances, the white oak floor attracts attention. The penthouse has three gas fireplaces, a wine refrigerator, and heated floors in the bathrooms.
The exterior of the house is also quite spectacular. The house has a large 3,300-square-foot roof terrace with its own irrigation system and grid. In other words, pleasant days await the person who will buy the house.
The couple had previously sold their house where Rihanna once lived. Since they spend most of their time in Los Angeles, Legend and Teigen decided to spend their energies on their homes and businesses there. Now, these amazing penthouses are waiting for their buyer.
