According to the latest updates, the amount required to become a Turkish citizen by investment is changed from $250.000 to $400.000. The decision was taken as part of the cabinet meeting yesterday and announced by the Ministry of Interior.
From now on, foreigners who want to purchase a house in Turkey to become Turkish citizens will need to pay at least $400,000 to obtain it. The regulation has entered into force after its publication in the Official Gazette on 13 May 2022. Before way back, with a decision taken in September 2018, the cost of buying a house for citizenship was reduced from 1 million dollars to 250 thousand dollars.
