The Investment Value in Bodrum Reached $5 billion Despite the Pandemic

Why Do You Need to Buy a House in 2022?

Ahmet Aras, Mayor of Bodrum, stated that the ever-growing foreign and local investments were not hit by the Coronavirus pandemic and added “Investment figures reached $5 billion in different fields such as tourism, real estate, health care, health tourism, sports, and infrastructure.”

The global pandemic affected every tourist destination in the world, and Bodrum is no exception. The number of foreign tourists visiting Bodrum dropped by 90%, yet approximately 100,000 foreigners flocked in the January-August period. Tourism season expanded due to the pandemic, and although off-season, hotels are hosting a large number of tourists.

Bodrum saw numerous foreign and local investors investing in the city in recent years. This did not come to an end amid the Coronavirus outbreak.

Prominent joint companies bought half-develop projects, starting the renovation processes. Distinguished hotel owners did not turn their eyes away from Bodrum. Especially with the pandemic, the demand for summer houses in Turkey reached great deals. New projects in tourism and real estate fields are now being brought into life by one by one. Investment value that hits $5 billion is expected to climb up in the upcoming years.
